The most successful sales professionals are the ones who continually learns and sharpen their sales skills. As field based sales professionals, we are always on the road or in the air flying to meet with clients. The time driving or flying can be put to good use by sharpening your craft, in this case sales skills and sales techniques with audiobooks.
As a sales professional myself, I listen to about 1-2 new sales or business related audiobooks a month and this has given me many new ideas that I can immediately use in my sales calls to help increase sales. I burn the audiobooks into CDs in the past and now I download it onto my smart phone and plug it straight into my car to listen while driving hours to accounts.
I also listen to business books and sales books during my time in the gym and it truly helps build my level of expertise in my chosen profession of sales.
